Livestock production is one of the group’s main business areas, as well as the one they’ve been involved with the longest. Located in four of Chile’s regions, the branches are in Casablanca, Los Angeles, Puerto Varas and Torres del Paine.
Over 18,000 heads of cattle are managed with the principles of animal welfare, use of genetics and balanced feeding, developing a harmonious production system for each farm that maximizes each zone’s productive qualities.
An in-house traceability program supports and guarantees our product is GMO and antibiotic free. The genetic handling is exclusively applied on the Black Angus breeds, adding a percentage of Hereford and Charolais, along with proper feeding this gives us the opportunity to supply our clients with superior quality meat.
In addition, Matetic Farms has its own Black Angus population for self-supply, as well as to supply other ranchers in the country. This is a contribution to the national livestock’s genetic development.
